Moonee Beach is a tranquil hideaway on the North Coast of NSW only 10 minutes north of Coffs Harbour, which is located midway between Sydney and Brisbane, and is considered to be one of the most popular holiday destinations in NSW. 

Moonee Beach is certainly one of the most scenic and peaceful spots along the holiday coast and offers the holiday maker a choice of either relaxing in a village lifestyle or visiting the newly completed shopping centre.  Moonee Beach has a fabulous tidal estuary which makes it a wonderful place for children to swim and frolic in shallow water, or lay in the tidal pools, or just make wet sand castles (don't forget the hat and sunscreen!!).  Moonee Beach also has a great surfing beach and is recognised as one of the best fishing spots around.

The nearby reserve boasts many facilities such as a playground for the kids, tennis courts, picnic shelters, barbeques, toilets and beach showers.  You can also take a stroll to the headland via the boardwalk bridge, across the creek, and then follow the bush paths to the headland for a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean and beautiful tidal estuary or catch sight of the many dolphins frolicking in the waters off the headland.
